MAHA Festival
The MAHA Festival is Omaha’s annual independent music festival, celebrating nationally recognized and emerging artists while supporting local nonprofits and the city’s creative community. Hosted each summer along the Missouri River at Heartland of America Park, the festival blends live music, art, food, and community into a full-day riverfront experience.
In 2025, the music festival unfolded as a perfect summer day along Omaha’s riverfront. From early afternoon wanderings between food trucks and shaded paths to blankets spread across the grass, the festival pulsed with music, movement, and community. As the sun dipped behind the skyline, Band of Horses carried the crowd into golden hour, followed by the intimate, soul-stirring performance of Waxahatchee. The night reached its electrifying peak when Pixies took the stage, delivering a nostalgia-charged finale that lit up Heartland of America Park and capped off an unforgettable summer evening.
These images capture the rhythm, atmosphere, and emotion that made the night unforgettable.
