The Annual St. Stanislaus Polish Festival (Sat. Aug. 17, 2025)

What a day of tradition and community at the 51st Annual Polish Festival at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church — the former sister parish of Holy Ghost!

Thousands filled the school social hall for plates of smoked Polish sausage, sauerkraut, sloppy joes, golabki (cabbage rolls), and of course, the famous pierogi (cheese, kraut and potato), topped off with homemade desserts.

Outside, festival-goers enjoyed traditional Polka music and Polish food under the big tents, tested their luck at the ever-popular meat wheel, and joined in the fun at the cake walk and grocery booth — all with plenty of cold drinks to go around.

This beloved South Omaha tradition wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated festival committee and countless volunteers who pour their time and heart into making it happen year after year. Thank you for keeping the spirit alive and thriving!
